Coming to counseling takes courage. It’s hard to open up and talk about your struggles. This is a step that we often don’t want to take in moving towards healing, because first we have to face our pain - which is difficult and can be scary. Counseling can feel vulnerable, and often like a weight has been lifted, at the same time. My job is to provide you with the safe space to explore what is most present for you, and to help you move towards living a more meaningful, mindful, and values-driven life.

This varies from client to client. Based on your individual needs, we will work together to create a plan. An important part of my job is helping you to identify and shore up your own resources so you feel more equipped to tackle the really tough stuff that life brings your way.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where you can ask me the questions you have, and I can tell you about me and how I work. Counselors have different approaches and different personalities, and my own approach and personality doesn’t work for everyone’s needs. If after our call and a few initial sessions we find that we’re not the best fit, we can explore options together. It is important to me that you are working with someone you are comfortable with and whose approach meets your needs. Read a little about me here, and how I work here.

To get started, please book a free 15-minute phone consultation with me, and you can ask me any questions you have. I will also share with you my approaches, ideas about how I can help you, and my policies and procedures. If it is determined we are not the right fit, I try to provide alternate suggestions of counselors.
